Kristina has been a practicing Acupuncturist and the owner of Pacific Coast Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 1999. She received her doctorate from Pacific College of Health Sciences in San Diego, California. In 1992 she graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences. She is a Nationally and State licensed practicing Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. Kristina is also an Associate with iaedp, The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals.
Kristina approaches healthcare from an integrative perspective incorporating both Western and Chinese medical diagnosis within her treatment protocols. Her philosophy is to treat each patient individually. Kristina incorporates telemedicine utilizing a wide range of natural/non-pharmaceutical modalities within her practice including needle-less techniques to activate acupuncture points, Chinese herbal nutrition, aromatic essential oil blends, homeopathic tinctures, meditative/anti-anxiety techniques and nutritional supplement therapy.
Kristina is from Michigan but has spent most of her life in beautiful San Diego. She is an avid tennis player, golfer and beach enthusiast. She enjoys spending time with her family and raising her two young daughters.
