Kristina Schwager, Licensed Acupuncturist
Kristina received her Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine in 1999 from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. In 1992 she graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences. She has been a Nationally and State licensed practicing Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist in San Diego for the past 17 years. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Kristina approaches healthcare from an integrative perspective incorporating both Western and Chinese medical diagnosis within her treatment protocols. Her philosophy is to treat each patient individually. Kristina incorporates a wide range of healing modalities within her practice including acupuncture/acupressure, electro-acupuncture, auricular therapy, gua sha, moxibustion, cupping, tuning forks, Chinese herbs, essential oils, homeopathy and nutritional supplements.
Kristina is originally from Michigan but has spent most of her life here in beautiful San Diego. She is an avid tennis player and beach enthusiast. She enjoys spending time with her family and raising her two young daughters.
